‘The Christmas Shoes’是一部電視電影，2002年在CBS電視台播放。

一開始只是一篇網路流傳的小故事：小男孩的母親在聖誕假期中病危。他希望能找到一雙最適合媽媽，最完美的鞋子，送給媽媽，讓媽媽能穿得漂漂亮亮地到天堂和耶穌基督見面。
1999年這個故事輾轉流傳到了NEWSONG（基督教音樂團體）的團員Eddie Carswell手中，他們決定把它譜成一首歌曲傳唱。花了一年的時間，終於在2000年的新專輯中以bonus track的方式收錄這首歌。
2001年，作家Donna Vanliere以歌曲為背景寫出同名小說《The Christmas Shoes》出版。
2002年，小說及歌曲受到CBS電視台注意，而製作同名電視電影“The Christmas Shoes”，由Andy Wolk執導，Rob Lowe（Sam Seaborn @ The West Wing）、Kimberly Williams、Max Morrow等主演。

或者該說，那是難以言喻的感動。
聖誕節的精神是什麼？
It's really not about buying presents, having feasts or singing songs.
前陣子，美國的一個鎮上，有個人到得來速買東西，順手就幫下一個人付了帳。下一個人又幫再下一個人付帳，就這樣pass it on, 沒有疑問也沒有第二句話。
I guess this is the spirit of Christmas.
我們分享我們感謝我們付出我們收穫……
現在開始，到下一個聖誕節來臨之前，
我們一起努力把愛與分享傳下去，好不好？
每一天都可以是聖誕節。
